(26.06.) Quantum non-lorentzian strings

Non-lorentzian string theories are string theories where the worldsheet and/or the target space are not described by a metric but by some other spacetime structure (e.g., galilean, carrollian,…). Examples are the Gomis—Ooguri string, the ambitwistor string and a recently discovered carrollian string. I will discuss the computation of their spectra, interpreted as a suitable semi-infinite cohomology. This is work is the result of collaborations with Emil Have, Niels Obers and Girish Vishwa.
